Hi, I’m Kristin.

I’m a queer Colorado mountain intimate wedding & elopement photographer and coordinator, a single mom to twin girls, and the human to a wildly goofy Bulloxer named Rocco who truly believes he’s the main character in every situation.

I’m the kind of person who feels most alive outside — windows down, music up, hiking trail snacks in my backpack, chasing sunlight through the mountains, and laughing so hard I snort a little.

Movement, music, nature, connection, creativity — those are the things that ground me. And honestly, they’re the same things that shape the experience I create for my couples too.

Because I don’t believe your wedding day should feel like a production.
I think it should feel like you.

What I Do

I specialize in intimate, queer-affirming Colorado mountain elopements for couples who want a day that feels meaningful, relaxed, emotional, and real — not overly posed or performative.

I’ve been photographing mountain weddings for nearly 10 years, but what makes the experience different with me is that I’m not just your photographer showing up with a camera.

I’m also your coordinator, location guide, timeline builder, problem solver, hype person, calm energy, and “I already thought of that for you” person.

From permits and logistics to helping choose a location that actually fits your personalities, I help bring all the moving pieces together so your day feels intentional instead of overwhelming.

And through all of it, the photos stay at the center of every decision — because your experience and your memories deserve more than rushed timelines and pretty Pinterest moments.

You get to slow down.
You get to breathe.
You get to actually experience your wedding day.

Why This Matters So Much to Me

I know being photographed can feel vulnerable.

Most people show up to their elopement saying some version of:
“We’re awkward in photos.”
“We don’t know what to do.”
“We’re nervous.”

And almost every single time, within minutes, that melts away.

Making people feel comfortable is genuinely my superpower.

I’m deeply intuitive, calm under pressure, and really good at creating an environment where people can unclench a little and just be themselves. No weird pressure. No forcing moments. No making you perform for the camera.

Just space to exist together naturally.

Especially for queer couples, introverts, neurodivergent humans, or people who’ve never fully felt seen in traditional wedding spaces — creating emotional safety matters to me on a very real level.

I want you to feel comfortable enough to laugh loudly, cry freely, be weird together, dance badly, get emotional, and fully settle into the moment without worrying about how you look every two seconds.

Because those are the photos that actually matter.

The Experience

Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with incredible Colorado vendors and created a process that’s intentionally supportive, streamlined, and personal.

Elevated Elopements is designed to feel like having one trusted person helping guide the whole experience — instead of juggling ten different moving parts yourself.

Less stress.
Less pressure.
More presence.
More connection.
More photos that actually feel like your memories.

If You’re Here…

You’re probably not looking for a giant production.

You want something intentional.
Something grounded.
Something beautiful without feeling performative.

You care more about connection than perfection.
You want to feel something when you look back at your photos.

And you want someone who can help you feel relaxed, seen, and genuinely yourselves through the entire process.

If that sounds like you, I think we’re probably going to get along really well.
